This article deals with discussing aspects of environmental protection management improvement, according to analysis, based on consequences after introducing ISO 14001, that was carried out on the relevant academic literature basis.

In contemporary challenges of sustainable development , issues of effective consumption of natural resources are crucially indicated, that should be envisaged by companies, working on these resources. Global announcement to develop environmentally-friendly production, that will be safe for future generations is realized in the working process, this sets objectives for management. Due to this, environmental protection issues really matter

ISO 14001, implies certification in the field of environmental protection management and its usage is available in any part of business .Holding this certificate , reveals company’s attitude to control environmental protection management and is a high standard of CSR,this triggers to boost company’s image.

ISO 14001:2015 determines demands of environmental protection management systems that can be used to improve its environmentally-friendly activities ISO 14001: 2015 is targeted for an organization, that constantly attempts to manage environmental responsibilities, this is the basis of environmental sustainability.

Introducing this standard is optional. Motivation and benefits for this vary.
